The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announces partnership with the Equality Chamber of Commerce DC

The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) and the Equality Chamber of Commerce | DC Metro Area (ECC | DC) announced the establishment of a formal partnership!

The goal of this partnership is to provide a platform for members in both Chambers to promote market and advertise their products and services to a broader audience. They are hoping this new opportunity also helps the community support minority-owned businesses in the area.

The Chambers have announced their new partnership early this June, in celebration of Pride Month 2022, which recognizes the impact that the LGBTQ+ community has had in history locally, nationally, and internationally.

"Having the ECCDC as an affiliate partner of our Chamber will be a good collaboration and initiative to really learn from each other, grow and continue to bridge the gaps that exist for our minority business owners.” Said Nicole Quiroga, GWHCC President and CEO.

“The LGBTQ+ community is the most intersectional and diverse community, bringing together Women, People of Color, Veterans, and Non-Binary individuals. Partnering with the GWHCC is a natural fit as we continue our intentional work of strengthening the business community. Through this partnership it is our goal to broaden the impact both organizations are making for the minority business community at large.” Said Riah Gonzales-King, ECCDC President.
