Please join us for DC SAFE, a town hall convening to drive DC employer commitments towards active engagement in ensuring and sustaining safe and inclusive workplaces for LGBTQ+ employees.

DC Safe and Inclusive Workplaces is a ground-breaking US project funded by the Greater Washington Community Foundation asking employers to adopt and display a declaration for workplace equality in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

Additionally, the project will fund informative posters and media tools to assist business owners in advocating for human rights for employees, customers, and DC residents in a manner that maintains individual business strategies and brand. DC Safe will launch in January 2024 and we’d like your experience and input to finalize our work.

The town hall, held via Zoom, will take approximately 60 minutes and focuses on finalizing a DC Declaration of Workplace Equality.

30 minute breakout sessions. Contribute input and revisions to 1 of 4 sections in the declaration. Share resources you like.
20-30 minutes reporting out.

Facilitators cover input, comments, and suggested changes. Stay to listen or leave as you need to.
