Our guest speaker will be Sydney Harris, manager of supplier diversity, from the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). Sydney will share with us best practices in utilizing the supplier diversity process for business growth. Additionally, she will teach us about the process for becoming an NGLCC LGBT-Owned Business Enterprise® (Certified LGBTBE®). The NGLCC Supplier Diversity Initiative serves as the exclusive third-party certifying organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender-owned Certified LGBT Business Enterprise suppliers. This program is the main bridge between corporate America and LGBT-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.
